this is Eigamura.
in eng, it means "movie village".
this is the place where they shoot samurai movies.
or movies with ancient feel.
still couldn't forget the SFX pool there.
me and my groupie were stoning down there,
waiting for the dinosaur to emerge from th pool.
lolol.

photo taken: in Eigamura, Kyoto.

Gion district, where all the geisha and maiko are.
me and groupie tried our luck to tk candid shots of them.
but apparently, we encountered none.
nonethless, we had some useful acquisition.
a friendly Japanese lady explained to us about geisha and maiko.
it was a great help to our documentary. :D

photo taken: along Gion district.

next stop, Kiyomizudera.
it means "clear water temple" in eng.
really nice place with beautiful scenery.
i made one wish here.
it came true. (:

photo taken: somewhere inside Kiyomizudera.

credits to my friend.
this picture is like homg.
damn nice.
him and his godly camera (i forgot the model).
it was photoshopped lah.
then he passed it to me.
it was a photo of th water fountain in th temple.
ppl can just drink from here.
th water is very clean. :D

photo taken: inside kiyomizudera, water fountain.

th entrance to th shopping area in Kiyomizudera.
apparently, they only sell charms and amulets here.
i bought an amulet. :D
it's still with me, although i have no need for it now.

photo taken: in Kiyomizudera.

this.
this is th most memorable thing in th temple.
the love stone.
how it works is that, there are 2 of these stones.
one is 10m apart frm th other.
you must close your eyes and walk from one stone to th other.
if you can find your way to th other stone, you will find your love soon.
i tried, with some help.
took me long enough to find my current (and forever) dear~
thanks stone. :D

photo taken: in th shopping area of Kiyomizudera.

english explanation of the love stone.

this holymothershit majestic building is Nijo castle.
one of the castles in Kyoto.
not sure how long it's been there.
all i know is that, it's been there for very long.

photo taken: outside Nijo castle.

the gates of the castle.
even the gates look pretty lol.
was too taken aback by the scenery inside th castle, i forgot to tk photos. ._.
it's beautiful beyond words.
one specialty of this castle is the nightingale floor.
go google it if you are interested. <:

photo taken: outside Nijo castle, at the castle gate.

after castle visit, shopping at Nishikki market.
largest market in Kyoto i think.
sell all sorts of things.
i rmb me and groupie bought teddies from here.
as a symbol of our teamwork. :D
bought five identical teddies frm a souvenir shop.

photo taken: inside Nishikki market.

alrighty, that's all for Kyoto. <:
and now, for Hiroshima.
coming right up.
