today, we screwed up our performance..
4-man Miyake was added in damn last min.
thus, we had no time to properly prepare ourselves.
but Otousan said Tonbane was awesome.
me and Wen Qi synchro lol.
i guess that was kind of a good news to me.
CCA fiesta had come to an end.
100 over members, but i'm sure most of them are interested in cosplay/comic ink.
we have another Taiko-interested member in the afternoon who signed up though.
but this guy..
i see his face i a bit bu shuang liao.
he said he had some experience in Taiko.
bro, when i say Taiko, it's not Taiko no Tatsujin can.
it's Taiko, real Taiko which requires your effort and commitment.
he kept insisting they are somehow the same.
bitch please, wait till our first official training.
then feel free to quit afterwards.
i have a feeling he will quit after the first few sessions..
he will then realized how different Taiko no Tatsujin and the real Taiko are.
and also, he will realize that we don't need people like this.
lately, me and Tristan had been discussing a lot abt the girl who joined JTC for Taiko recently.
the girl who said she knows two of our seniors.
Joel told us a bit more abt her.
he said her name is Naomi Tan(?).
apparently she is in Hibikiya.
confession: i don't feel good and am slightly annoyed by this fact.
i mean, c'mon, Hibikiya member leh.
i am worried at first that she might overpower all of us, since i was told her skills are on par with Taichou's.
but it didn't mind me as much now.
one day, if she were to stay, they will have to take over our positions as well.
having a Taiko player with good skills will mean a better troupe in the future.
i am more concerned of her attitude though.
if she is those complacent type one.. i'm afraid she will make things difficult for Taichou.
after all, she is no ordinary Taiko player.
she might actually learn faster than any of us, or even overtake our skills.
i'm not a very good player, i admit.
but it definitely doesn't feel good if a junior plays better than you.
i have to train harder.
in any case, i really hope i can get along with her.
i don't want to judge a book by its cover.
but if her attitude really sucks.. we do not need such a person in our group.
that is what we've decided on after talking about it with Tris.
we would rather have fewer people than foul people.
but.. something tells me she is not someone who is like this.
that aside.. since she is a Hibikiya member.. there is no guarantee we can keep her.. ):
the different trainers problem, that Hibikiya members can't learn from Gindaiko and all.
we might actually lose a skilled junior because of that..
and also.. since we are doing more traditional and boring songs.. she might not like it.
sigh.
thinking too much makes my head hurt.. ):
let's worry about it after we've met them..
